Hi there, I started dee jaying back in the late seventies when Firefly Disco first came into being, after meeting my now wife ( no regrets whatsoever ) Firefly Disco was eventually mothballed in the early eighties. Apart from a few charity gigs I didn’t start dee jaying again until the late nineties when Firefly Disco was re-born again.

As you can see from the “then and now” pictures a lot has changed over the years, apart from me not being as thin, equipment nowadays is far more sophisticated giving far better lighting effects and much clearer sound from CDs.

CHILDREN’S PARTIES Organising a child’s party can be a daunting experience, whatever their age. As a parent of two young children I really know what makes them “tick” when it comes to parties, I also realise that safety at kids events must be paramount. We do not treat children’s parties as ‘inferior bookings’ and will supply the same equipment as for adult parties. All aspects of the party can be catered for from prizes for games, glowsticks, flashing novelties, party bags, etc. Ask for details. Note:- for health & safety reasons and whilst implementing the games, adult supervision / attendance will be required.

60s & 70s Theme Nights Having cut my dee jay teeth in the late seventies this is my specialist genre. Trivia quizes, T.V themes & music bits & pieces competitions can be added to make a night to remember. May I also suggest that fancy dress be the order of the day, even the dee jay will appear in fancy dress, wigs etc.
